Musea Tearoom & Gallery

Project Overview:

For this project, I created a cohesive visual identity for a conceptual tearoom and art gallery, Musea. The deliverables included menu designs, packaging elements, storefront decals, and stationery, all designed to reflect the space's artistic and tranquil atmosphere.

Target Audience:

The primary visitors of tearooms tend to be women aged 35 to 65, drawn by the relaxing and social atmosphere. In contrast, art galleries attract a more diverse audience, including both men and women ranging from 18 to 65, with varying interests in culture and aesthetics.

Design Approach:

Musea, a fusion of art and tea, inspired the use of watercolor as the central visual motif. This technique harmoniously blends both concepts, evoking a modern yet chic aesthetic across various applications—like a blank canvas being brought to life. The muted green, blue, and purple palette was chosen for its ability to convey elegance, sophistication, and tranquility, much like the ambiance of an art gallery. To further enhance the artistic feel, I hand-drew the "M" logo element and paired it with serif typefaces, striking a balance between creativity and refinement.
